FineTune™ Biting Insect Lure

How Does It Work
Different species of mosquitoes and other biting insects live, breed, and thrive in different landscape environments. There are more than 80 nuisance species of mosquitoes in the United States alone, and different habitats are home to different species.

SkeeterVac provides a variety of visual and chemical cues that attract mosquitoes and other biting insects. All blood-seeking female mosquitoes are attracted to the carbon dioxide, heat, and water vapor SkeeterVac produces (link back to How the SkeeterVac works page) because it mimics human breathing. Some mosquitoes are also attracted to human odor and scent. SkeeterVac uses a chemical to attract those species. SkeeterVac's FineTune Maximum Protection Bait System(tm) allows you to customize the amount of octenol released to MATCH THE SPECIES OF MOSQUITOES IN YOUR BACKYARD

How Much Bait to Use?
Baiting SkeeterVac is quick and easy. Our scientists have discovered what types of mosquitoes reside in different habitats and determined how much bait is needed to attract them. The FineTune guide provides eight general habitats and recommends the amount of chips to use for each. You simply match your backyard to the photo and load the bait chip tray.

What are the results?
When used as directed, SkeeterVac mosquito exterminators attract, trap, and kill mosquitoes in the FIRST FEW DAYS OF USE. Quantities of catch vary depending on amount available and setup of the appliance. Within a several days, most people notice REDUCTION IN BITING. Within weeks the nuisance is normally greatly reduced.

NOTICE: Female mosquitoes usually live for about 4 weeks, laying up to 500 eggs during their lifetime. As a result, it normally takes UP TO 6 WEEKS TO INTERRUPT THE BREEDING CYCLE.
